Kiffmann Taekwondo team received three trophies as well for
1st Place For Overall Team Performance, 1st Place For Team
Performance in Sparring, and Second Overall Team Performance
in Forms. Team trophies are determined by overall medal count,
5 points for Gold, 3 points for silver and 1 point for Bronze.

2007 Karlovac Open, Croatia, May 26, 2007

2007 Austrian Open, Innsbruck, Austria, June 2-3, 2007
Miles Kiffmann, black belt and assistant to his parents of
Kiffmann Taekwondo, traveled to Europe to compete at the Karlovac
Open in Croatia and the Austrian Open in Innsbruck Austria.
Miles, age 14 took home the silver at the Croatian Open but
was eliminated from the Austrian Open after being defeated
by Poland in a controversial 3-4 upset, in which 4 of his
headshots (worth 2 points each) were not recorded by Austrian
officials. |
2007 National Taekwondo Qualifier in Portland,
Oregon
April 14-15, 2007
Kiffmann Taekwondo Competitors Receive 7 Medals At National
Taekwondo Qualifier
6 athletes from the Kiffmann Taekwondo Competition team flew
to Portland, Oregon, to compete at the 2007 National Taekwondo
Qualifier in Portland, Oregon. The event is the prelude to
the 2007 US Taekwondo Championships.
Black Belt Athlete medalists were: Miles Kiffmann, Bronze
Medal; Andrea Thyne, Bronze Medal and Jessica Thyne, Gold
Medal.
Color belt medalists were: Angelo Deloso-Flocco, 2 Gold Medals
and Isaac Owades, 1 Gold and One Bronze.
